The Center Groton Fire District is an independent municipality charged with providing fire suppression and prevention services. The District is represented by an elected board of 9 citizens that develop the annual operating budget and set the fire district tax rate.
Your interest in the Fire Department is wanted! Please attend the monthly meeting of the Fire District every 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Center Groton Fire Station, at 7:00 PM. Additionally, the annual meeting for appointment of board members and approval of the operating budget is held on the 3rd Wednesday of May.
